Start of a new year, start of a new decade, start of a new bottle.
Going slow after last night. A bottle of Brampton bitter. Then I made a steak pie of course which helped to fortify me further, and washed it down with a few glasses of very fine Barolo – the ultimate hangover cure. But we didn’t finish the whole bottle – which shows just how slow things were going today.
